PXB-mouse® is one of the top most cited publications in 2015!
We are happy to share the news that the development of our currently used cDNA-uPA/SCID mouse model with highly humanized liver (PXB-mouse®) is recognized by the academic and industrial researchers. The publication by PhoenixBio R&D team lead by Chise Tateno-Mukaidani is one of the top cited publications from 2015!
The newly developed PXB-mouse® is being produced at our facilities in Japan and North America during last few years. It has significant improvement in comparison to previously used uPA/SCID model by being more robust and having long term stable human hepatocyte engraftment. The model has seen increased use in a wide range of applications, including Viral Hepatitis, Toxicity, Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics, Metabolic Liver Disease, Oligonucleotide Therapeutics, and Gene Therapy.
We are committed to continue our contribution to the industrial and academic research and look forward to other developments by our R&D team and our valued clients and collaborators.
